We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding Bridging Finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and cultivate new relationships with brokers, introducers, and direct clients. Drive the acquisition of new bridging finance deals and help expand the company’s client base in key markets.
- Sales Strategy and Reporting: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve set targets and KPIs. Proven track record of achieving at least £1m in monthly completions
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Work closely with clients to understand their financial requirements and structure suitable bridging finance solutions that meet their needs while ensuring profitability and risk management.
- Brand Promotion: Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences. Act as a brand ambassador and help increase the company’s market presence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, risk, and operations to ensure a smooth process from deal inception to completion.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of business development/sales experience within the bridging finance or specialist lending sector. A solid understanding of bridging loans, property finance, and associated products is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the UK bridging finance market, trends, and regulatory landscape.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders. Proven track record in business development and managing relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities. Comfortable managing multiple deals and priorities at once.
